Only you know.

You have complete control over everything that may be.

Lord I call to you, ease my heart, help me see!



Lord you know what is and what is to be done.

Prepare my heart; strengthen my mind for what is to come.



Lord, You know the hurt that I feel every day,

Help me to know that in You there is always a way.



Lord, hear my prayer in everything I do.

My life I give, I am eternally captivated by You.


   How comforting to have a God that knows all and hears our prayers. A God who knows us personally and who loves us each individually. It's overwhelming and amazing! This poem is just a prayer to God. askign Him to just take control and strengthen every part of me to do only His will. Hope you enjoyed.

The Greatness of You

Good is all that you can do

All powerful is only one, only you

Comforting are your words and Your light

You are infinite, and just; only you are unfailing and right.


Loving Father is who you are

No matter where I am you are never far.

Loving Father your guidance is why I strive

Your mercy is the only reason I am alive.



My Savior in complete control gives peace to my soul

Your grace is what makes my heart beat whole.

Your hope is why I can make it through

Oh Lord God, I glorify the greatness of only you!

I was really inspired sunday morning at church and I ended up writing two poems. This is the first one and I will post the second one at a different time. God is just so so good and everything that He is and everything that has been done for us is so amazing. I am constantly in awe of Him. The poem is just basically saying that God is good, he is always there, and My job in all of this is to give glory back to him.
